Our Vision

The Johnson Center for Community Arts and Education is a venue created to facilitate community access to visual and performing arts and education through partnerships and collaboration. The Johnson Center provides access to safe, reliable, and appropriately equipped small-scale rehearsal, production, and performance spaces for members of the Iron County arts community. Serving as a community organization for all Iron County artists in visual and performing arts, the Center provides opportunities for Iron County residents of all ages to explore their creative gifts and to find their artistic voice.

Fused Art Glass

The Johnson Center was recently awarded a grant from the Utah Division of Arts & Museums, National Assembly of State Art Agency, and E.A. Michelson Philanthropy to host a series of art classes for adults ages 55+. This class, called Creative Aging: Exploring Fused Glass was taught by Carrie Trenholm. This video highlights some of their work.
